Nan’s warmth, high-energy, and results-oriented approach make her exceptionally good at helping her clients become more effective and authentic leaders.

She brings more than twenty years of experience as a coach, consultant, facilitator, and educator. Her clients include senior partners at top management consulting firms, middle managers at Fortune 500 companies, small business owners, and gang kids in Oakland, California. Whatever the engagement, Nan’s delight is to help her clients deepen their learning, produce extraordinary results in their lives, careers, businesses, and organizations. Her clients become better at motivating, inspiring, and bringing out greatness in others – as well as in themselves – to make a positive difference in their world professionally and personally.

Before becoming a coach, Nan worked with Overseas Training Corporation in Tokyo, acting as a consultant to executives and managers in 6 major corporations on cross-cultural communication issues. She later worked with Ridge Associates and Interaction Associates, training and coaching throughout the US and Europe on topics such as facilitative leadership, building effective teams, mastering meetings for results, leadership development, communication skills, creative problem-solving, and strategic planning. She is trained in a rigorously research-based approach to creativity and problem-solving developed by Synectics®. Nan is a Bregman Leadership Coach with Bregman Partners and has also served as a Mentor Coach for WBA (Wisdom Business Alliance).

At Princeton, she was president of an organization with 250 members, successfully doubling its membership in one year; at a nonprofit organization, she was in charge of a staff of 18; and in 2004 she founded a local coop which today serves over 300 families linking farmers with consumers. She is a former theater director, a world-traveler, and an outdoor enthusiast.
